Or, really my point of the post is, how about talking about coffee that everyone actually has easy access to, and not just a small section of the worst state of the country.

Peet’s does rock hard, but some of the cup-at-a-time joints in SF are even better…dare…and the service WAYYYY better. the best Peet’s store is Corte Madera…the energy and friendliness there is Over-The-Top! Philz Coffee makes cup-at-a-time and quality is awesome! on slightly sour note, sometimes the Peet’s Barristas can ruin a good cup of Jo with their “attitude”… Corte Madera very friendly and is the Exception! Upper Market and Chestnut stores are Rude as a general rule.

you drink peets coffee because you have never tasted Weaver’s Coffee prepared in a French Press. John Weaver was Peets Master Roaster for 27 years. He left to start his own coffee company–buy his beans dude

Peets is the best. Tully’s pretty good, Bean & Tea Leaf, okay, Starbucks…..bitter, boring, weak.

Peets kicks ass my friend. I love the robust flavor. You can actually taste the espresso in all the drinks. Each drink is made to perfection. I agree with you 150 percent. Oy Yoy Yoy Starbuks stinks lol.

Agreed, Peets is the absolute best. (except for Garuda). Espresso Forte, Arabian Mocha Sanani. At the Brentwood store I once overheard a former Staryuk customer explain her Peets conversion to her Staryuk groupie friend how much better the coffee and atmosphere is at peets, “not so teenie bopper”

Goddamn right, Peet’s is best hands down. I drink more coffee than anyone I know, and it’s my culinary passion, nothing matches Peet’s. An official Peet’s shop is something Reno (my home town) severely lacked forever. But they just a a few weeks ago built a mini Peet’s shop in my grocery store a block away, pastries, espresso, and all. I am VERY stoked about that. I will be there every morning.
