Coffee lovers rejoice! There are actually recipes available that incorporate coffee as the main flavor. Your coffee maker can help you to prepare these meals.
Everyone has heard of using coffee flavors in dessert. But you can also add a distinctive flavor to lots of other dishes as well. This can be done by making barbecue sauces and glazes for your meats with a coffee recipe. You can also put coffee in your favorite chili or pot roast recipe.
It is always better to use fresh ingredients in a recipe and coffee is no exception. Make sure that it is fresh by buying it freshly ground or by grinding your own. (Which is a great reason to have your own coffee grinding machine!) If your recipe calls for brewed coffee, don't use some that has been sitting around since morning time. Brew your coffee right before using it. You will want to make the coffee you put in your recipes stronger than what you would drink because it is going to be mixed in with other ingredients.
Here are a few recipes for you to try.
Coffee Meatloaf Sauce: Combine a quarter cup of each of these ingredients: water, dry red wine and worcestershire sauce. Add one half cup of ketchup, two teaspoons of vinegar, two tablespoons of lemon juice, a teaspoon of brown sugar and an ounce of margarine. Mix and add one tablespoon of instant coffee. Prepare you favorite meatloaf recipe and place it in a preheated 375 degree oven. After it cooks for 1/2 hour, pour the sauce over it and continue to bake for 45 more minutes. It will come out tender and delicious!
Espresso Brownies: Heat a cup of sugar, a 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1 and 1/2 sticks of butter in a sauce pan over low heat. Add one teaspoon of vanilla, 4 ounces of chopped, semi-sweet chocolate and stir until melted together. Then add one tablespoon of dark roast coffee and mix everything together and let it cool down. Fold in three eggs and a cup of flour. Pour your mixture into a 8 x 11 inch baking pan and bake in a 350 degree oven for thirty minutes. Yum!
Quick Coffee Sauce: Combine one cup of sugar with one cup of strong Colombian coffee. Boil and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Turn the heat down and simmer for three more minutes. Let it cool and use it to pour over any kind of meal.

I need to replace a glass carafe for a french press coffee maker. I want it to fit Bodum of Starbucks?
Someone gave me a starbucks french press & I love it. But I dropped it & the glass carafe broke. So I bought the bodum & the carafe would fit into Starbucks so when my friend came over, shoe wouln't have to know i broke her gift. But my boyfriend broke the new carafe!
I was hoping to by TWO new carafes, not only for back up in case one of us gets clumsy again, but also so I can make more coffee more quickly when we have a lot of company over.
Any suggestions on where to look? Especially for a bargain!
Thanks!

How to Choose the Best Coffee Maker
| US $7.50 (0 Bid) End Date: Friday May-18-2012 17:15:05 PDT Bid now | Add to watch list |
When you are cooking you know that using the best ingredients and the best pots and pans can help you to cook the most delicious meals and when you are used to good quality products it has to expand to other things, like the beverages you drink and certainly the coffee that you drink. With coffee it is in fact the same as with cooking, if you want a great tasting coffee you need the best beans (the ingredients) and the best coffee maker (the pots and pans) and when you have that, you can make the best coffee ever.
For that perfect cup of coffee, when you first wake up in the morning, you need to find the best beans that is not that hard especially when you buy and look for it online. Just sample and taste the different kinds of coffee and buy the one that you like. But you also need the best coffee maker and that can be a bit harder.
Finding the right beans is a bit subjective, the beans need to fit your taste. Well with the best coffee maker it is in fact the same way, it is also very subjective. It all depends on your taste, lifestyle, budget and eye for design. People make different choices and that is a good thing, it would be a very boring world if we all prefer the same. There are however common grounds on which we decide what would be the best coffee maker for us.
Pure simple coffee
For the purist among us the best coffee maker ever made is a French press. According to them this kind of coffee is pure and all other coffee makers are just fancy. It is true that coffee made with a French press is rich in flavor, you can buy it anywhere and it does not break easily in fact it is just a glass jar with a plunger. You just need to put the (freshly grinded) coffee grounds in the jar and fill it further with hot boiling water. After that you need to give the brew a couple of minutes to get ready and then push the plunger down. This way you will get a strong concentrated flavor and if that is exactly what you like, you do not have to look any further this is the best coffee maker for you. It does not cost much and you can try out some gourmet coffee beans to experiment with this pure strong flavored coffee.
Coffee makers for the everyday user
If you drink a lot of coffee a French press is probably not a good choice for you. There are many other choices but we would like to bring the common coffee drip brewers at your attentions, because it is not fashionable any more to like these kind of machines while they in fact are the best coffee makers available. It is not just coincidental that these kind of coffee makers are used in almost all office pantries. These machines are reliable and can make a real good cup of coffee.
You need to look around for the more expensive models that have paid attention to details like the temperature and the amount of water used. If you buy a coffee drip brewer you do not want the ones that makes a lot of coffee at one time and keeps it heated in the carafe for a long time. The first cup is good but the last few cups taste awful.
What type of machine you buy is totally up to your taste, just make sure that you buy the best coffee maker of its kind and the best beans you can get.

A Closer Look at the Espresso Coffee Maker
| US $0.99 (0 Bid) End Date: Friday May-18-2012 23:41:11 PDT Bid now | Add to watch list |
While the end products of the espresso coffee maker and a standard coffee maker may be similar in taste, their mechanics ands methods of operation are quite different. The biggest difference is that coffee is brewed under normal atmospheric pressure, while espresso is produced with pressurized hot water.
Course Ground vs Powdered Coffee Beans
Another difference between the two machines is the texture of the ground coffee beans that are used to make espresso and coffee. To make coffee, the beans are ground to a course consistency, while espresso requires that the beans be ground to a fine powder.
Pump vs Steam Pressure
In the same way that there are differences in the way the two coffee machine function, so too are there differences in the mechanics of various espresso machines. For instance, some espresso coffee makers will incorporate a pump mechanism to force the hot water through the powdered beans, while most espresso machines use steam power to generate the pressure that is needed.
Different Water Temperatures
Water temperature is another factor that sets that espresso coffee maker apart from a standard coffee maker. In short, an espresso coffee maker will use water that is heated to just below the boiling point in temperature. On the other hand, coffee machines tend to use water that is at least at the boiling temperature to brew standard coffee.
A Smoother Taste
The result is that espresso, though much more concentrated than coffee will tend to have a smoother flavor. This is due to the fact that the slightly cooler water will tend to leave much of the bitter oils that are contained in coffee behind during the brewing process.
A Wide Variety in Size and Price
As a far as the price of the actual machines is concerned, they are for the most part comparatively equal. They both come in a wide range of prices depending on the features contained in them and the over all quality and size of the individual machine. Also there are machines available that can produce both espresso and coffee.

Free Up More Counter Space With A Built In Coffee Maker
| US $85.00 (0 Bid) End Date: Friday May-18-2012 17:00:35 PDT Bid now | Add to watch list |
Do find yourself with limited counter space in your kitchen mainly due to the number of small appliances you have everywhere. Toasters, coffee makers, blends, and toaster ovens can all take up a lot of useful space. We now see more people turning to built in coffee makers to solve part of this problem and have one less small appliance on their counter cluttering everything up.
The cost of a built in coffee maker can vary from a couple hundred up to thousands of dollars. I know you're probably thinking the same thing I did when I heard this..Thousands? You can actually spend thousands of dollars just on a coffee maker. It's true new built in makers that are plumbed directly into your water and electrical are the peak of convenience for making coffee. Never having to add water or contend with hanging electrical wires is nice, but it comes at a price.
These single push button coffee makers only ever require the user to add grounds to the basket and a filter if needed. The water is supplied automatically, and brewing begins. Some of the more expensive built in coffee makers will even have a bean grinder built in, so you can add coffee beans, and enjoy the freshest coffee grounds for you cup of joe. All that's needed is an added filter if the machines doesn't use a permanent one.
Some Less Expensive Models Not Plumbed
Now since we all don't like the lifestyles of the rich and famous there are some less expensive built in coffee maker models. For those not wanting to spend thousands of dollars, there are under the cabinet models for a few hundred dollars. If you shop hard enough though you can find a buy on a Hardwired and plumbed built in coffee maker. Brew Express makes a model such as this for around $450.00.
An easy way to have a built in coffee maker is simply a coffee maker placed in a nook cut out of the wall. The plug still connects to a regular wall plug, and most machines will need to be removed from the nook in order to have water added to brew. While this might not really seem like a built in coffee maker, it does get it off the counter top. A unique way to get your conventional coffee maker off the counter is to purchase a bracket available that mounts a regular coffee maker to hang from under a cupboard, or other surface.
Of course there are advantages to the more expensive models, then just more counter top space. A plumbed coffee maker is self filling so the correct volume of water is always added. Just add fresh coffee grounds and brew. Now another unique feature, not directly related to coffee is that many of these pre wired coffee makers will also have an additional plug built into the front adding more electrical outlets in your kitchen
The reality is that if you're a hardcore coffee lover then a built in coffee maker that is plumbed and wired into your home could be worth while. For the average person that makes a pot when guests are over or on weekends it's probably not the best few hundred bucks you can spend. There are many excellent under cabinet and counter top coffee makers available. Take the time to research the features you'd be interested in and shop around. Shopping comparison sites are an excellent tool to use for researching prices and features.

Cheapest Gevalia Espresso Dark 16 Count T Discs for Tassimo Coffeemakers Pack of 2 Amazon Frustration Free Packaging

For a moment the disc / waffles, espresso is very good for the Tassimo Gevalia. It 's the best espresso on sale for the Tassimo online.
I recently discovered a trick for which there is still tasty. For a fuller, richer coffee, 2 T-discs combine a cup of shortening, each with a halfway BREW to increase the strength. On the original machine Tassimo, this will have pressing and release when the drip is made only for a few seconds. For many people, could be a regular beer from a single T-Disc in order, but taste was a bit ‘weak for me (maybe it's been spoiled by too many coffees that pack a punch peets group).
Yes, it uses the T-fastest drives, but discs 2 a cup of coffee only costs about $ 1.10 – which is still much cheaper than a double espresso at Starbucks ($ 1.95) or peets ($ 2.20).

The First Late Starbucks coffee for the Tassimo coffee cream is probably my favorite coffee. I am a milk drinker, usually a thin vanilla milk at Starbucks, and I find it amazing how good their coffee. So I was pleased to see this product for my Bosch Tassimo coffee machine. It comes with milk Milk T-Discs, and an adequate number of T-Discs Express. Use one of each (starting with milk to make T-Disc), a milk. For a really special holiday video, this brew in a glass bowl or transparent. The verdict: Starbucks Latte Primo Primo …! Very creamy, smooth coffee … Add a little 'sugar-free vanilla syrup and skim milk is as good as any vanilla at Starbucks directly.

It's Monday morning and you drag yourself not at home of bed wishing more than everything that the weekend was not finished. You shower, grab a quick bite of food that you can take with you as you need the added time you come up with to go to the coffee house down the road from you. You stand in line for 20 minutes while a little female in front of the line gives an order listing longer than Santa Clause's. You at last move up in line and are prepared to add your order your favorite late', When you in the end obtain it, you proceed to your car take the initial sip and realize that your knees is roasting hot, the lid was not on taut and right away your 20 minute waiting in line, now with a steaming burning late' now sits in your knees. So now you have to go back in and stand in line again, order a new drink, make a quick stop at home to change and clean up. By the time you get back to your car and head in to go to work, you realize you're running behind schedule for work. By now you feel like cursing that coffee shop.
If you would omit simply one little thing, your days might be more along these lines. You wake up, make your way into the kitchen, turn to your espresso maker, pour the high quality fresh cup of esporesso beans in, let them grind, add water, and in a matter of seconds you hold a strong, full bodied, smooth, tasty, fresh espresso shot. Now you add your condiments to render your favorite drink, and you make your way to the dinning area table where I know you are here to find out about Vera Wang perfume or you wouldn't be here.R significant other or children could be. You essentially get to hear what is going on with the kids at school, or hear what vast presentation your significant other could have and give them terrific support by merely being there. You may even pick up the newspaper, or check emails from dear friends, maybe check your social networking site and drop a much desirable heartening note to a dear buddy, or maybe you got a much desirable note from a ally that you normally wouldn't have gotten until the ending of the day.
All of these things might be a each day occurrence if you would make a simple investment of an espresso maker. The prices vary according to how professional you wish for it to be, and what all you expect out of it. You can purchase the very minimal ones that are stove top type espresso makers, that merely give a plain shot of espresso or you might purchase a professional type espresso maker that does the things your resident coffee shop does, like brew, grind, and froth. It all depends on the price you plan to pay, or the job you want it to do. Whatever choice you make, it will be much better than spending all your time and money to the neighborhood coffee house. Keep your money in your pocket and treat your kids to pizza this weekend, or have a little get away with your significant other, after all with the time you save each day and the money you save there will be more time to reconnect with individuals you love.
